Ed MacMullan

Ed retired from ECONorthwest, an economics and planning consulting firm, in 2018. Joining the firm in 1990 as a Research Analyst, he progressed over the next 28 years to positions of Project Manager, Senior Economist, and Project Director. For many years he also led and managed the firm’s litigation support practice. Much of his work entailed applying benefit-cost principles to help stakeholders and decisionmakers understand economic outcomes. His natural resource experience included economic analyses of management decisions affecting surface and ground water, riparian areas, forests, agricultural lands, and threatened or endangered species. Ed’s litigation support practice involved working closely with ECONorthwest’s testifying economists and managing and conducting analyses covering a range of topics including: natural resource damage assessments; intellectual property disputes; Federal anti-trust liability and damage assessments; contract disputes; medical economics; and municipal rights-of-way valuations.
