Community Says No to Newland Sierra Project

Last week we shared our comment letter on the Newland Sierra development near San Diego.

This week we have great news: the sponsor group voted 6-0 to recommend denying the project.  Newland continues to claim that they will “save” water by building 2,000+ new units in an undeveloped area, but most in the community aren’t buying it.
