Is raising Shasta Dam and adding twin tunnels in the Delta to move more water to thirsty parts of the State in the best interests of the environment and residents of the north State? In other words,do we just swallow the brown water plan?

At a recent visit to The Springs Preserve in Las Vegas, NV a public greeter decried the amount of water from Hoover Dam that is going to southern California, leaving little for the local residents. Are proposals to raise Shasta Dam and build twin tunnels in the Delta a similar ploys?
More disturbing than Governor Brown’s Bay Delta Conservation Plan (BDCP) proposal is the attitude of Americans For Prosperity’s California spokesman Tom McClintock who asserts in a YouTube video that “California’s Drought is a Dam Problem.” Be aware that the philosophy of Koch brothers is that “ if all politics is local, that’s where their money will go.” Their tactic is to create “local on-the-ground armies to create Grassroots operations that win.“
