C-WIN and Coalition Send Letter with Concerns about Trinity River Mainstem Channel Rehabilitation Projects
C-WIN and a diverse coalition of individuals, organizations and businesses who support restoration of the Trinity River sent a letter expressing concerns about Trinity River Mainstem Channel Rehabilitation Projects. The letter was sent today to the Trinity River Restoration Program and the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board on the latest environmental document for Trinity River mainstem work at Lower Junction City and Bucktail.
It's time for the Trinity River Restoration Program to get to take a break on the mainstem work until it's shown that there is a benefit. There is still plenty of work to be done replacing the Bucktail Bridge and working in the watersheds.
In addition to signing the coalition letter, the Trinity River Guides Association sent its own letter on the projects here.
